Holidays that give the deaf a break
Unless they have a hearing friend to go with, holidays can be challenging for people who are even partly deaf. But now the charity Hearing Concern has come up with a programme of breaks in the UK and abroad that enable the hard-of-hearing to travel with support from a lipspeaker or other trained communicator, when needed.
