Slightly apprehensive about trying this place having read the reviews on this site. However reviews on other sites are good so decided to give it a try when friends came to stay. We had the set menu, which at 9.99 (or 9.50?!) was great value as it included a starter, main course, side dish or nan bread, plus poppadums etc. We thought the food was very good. Restaurant busy and buzzy atmosphere so think the restaurant has left behind its apparent problems in the past (fingers crossed!)

The best takeaway I have had in Shoreham ( a couple of years back) but the last three were pretty poor so I have moved to pastures new. The last vegetable Curry was watery,little flavour and gave me a bad bout of indigestion...I may take guests to the Restraunt which is attractive and hope that the food served up was better!

My previous review was rejected as it was perhaps a bit too strong. I now realise that the only way to complain about this restaurant is to report them to the authorities which I will do as soon as I can.

No rating and should be closed down in my opinion, they just serve watered down everything and add sugar and salt instead of herbs and spices. I actually saw a waiter behind the curtains re-using food from peoples' plates. I think this establishment should be inspected - we visited in March 2011 and were ill afterwards.

My husband and i visited this establishment at the weekend and were bitterly dissappointed with the quality of the food and service. My 'recommended' lamb dish was very fatty and grizzly and the sauce very overpowered by a particular lemon flavoured vegetable. My husbands chicken dish was decidedly tasteless and the rice for both of us very bland and ordindary. with regard to the drinks, my husband had to push very hard to get the carlsberg beer he wanted and knew they had on the premises but seemed reluctant to offer to clients at all. When placing the order for a jug of tap water and glasses, it took 3 askings before we eventually had these brought to the table. These were the worse curries we have ever eaten and we Will not eat there again!!!
