A nice relaxing venue, serving great food and close to the town centre. Relatively quiet, for some strange reason, but this lends itself to be able to talk to your friends!. You've got to try the back garden in the summer months as the set-up is great for children and adults alike.

Good Food & Child Friendly

Has a great rear garden with bouncy castle, wooden fort, and lots of other toys for children to play with.
The food is usually up to a good standard with good sized portions and a decent snack menu as well as a main resturant menu.
Oh and the beer on tap is kept well, we have never had a bad pint.
Overall a great family pub

Excellent

Visited for a sunday lunch with 2 small children. The sunday roast arrived quickly which is great with hungry children, but it was obvious it hadnt all just been thrown in a microwave. All the food was excellent, with home made yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and a good selection of vegetables done in some more intresting ways than normal. Real home made gravy. Staff were extremly helpful and polite. The garden is great for children. If you want a really good well priced sunday lunch, in good surroundings then this place is well worth it. Definetly ranks up there as one of the best roasts ive had in a pub

Lovely, friendly pub, which is inexplicably quiet

Stayed here for two nights last summer, when I was let down by a local B&B. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room comfy, and both breakfast and dinner were really good.

Have been back for drinks and food since, and always enjoyed it.

Very Friendly Place

Wonderful pub, best in Shoreham! Very clean. Friendly staff who are very welcoming and efficient. The food is good too.
A few of our friends have stayed in the B & B over the past 18 months and have nothing but praise. Would recommend it to everyone!

Little Gem

Since it's new owners a couple of years ago, The Crabtree has improved much.
The garden is fairly spacious and has some useful stuff for kids to play with/on (Ideal in the summer when they can play on the bouncy castle and mum/dad can have a drink).
The barstaff are friendly and they do a very reasonable Sunday Roast - both in price and quality. It was redecorated late 2010 and the rear lounge is a comfy and attractive place to relax.
