
Built in 1105, St Mary de Haura is one of the oldest Churches in Shoreham-by-Sea. This is a parish church of the Church of England and it has stood in the centre of Shoreham as a focal point for worship for over 900 years.
2003 marked 900 years of history and worship at St Mary de Haura. Originally founded by Philip de Braose, whos father, William, fought with William the Conqueror at the Battle of Hastings in 1066. The church today is Grade I listed.
