St Mary's Bell Tower.
« on: August 25, 2019, 10:46:33 pm »
On Saturday 14th September it will be the annual National Heritage Open Day.

According to the Shoreham Society website, on that day there will be "an opportunity to ascend the bell tower of St Mary's Church, Shoreham".

I'm not sure as to how far up the tower we will be allowed to go though.
I remember the days when the tower was open annually, and members of the public could ascend all the way up to the top to enjoy the view.

Addendum.

Apparently, the tower will be open from 10.00 to 13.00, and no booking is necessary.
