good fresh cod cooked as u wait but the chips were crap - only went there as all other fish and chip shops were closed. wont go there again though.

I have had a few meals from here and can honestly say that it is the freshest fish cooked perfectly. The chips are very nice also and the staff are very helpful and friendly. As I have been in there 4 or 5 times they now know me by name. You do have to wait a little bit but I would rather wait and have them cook the fish fresh than have them pre-prepare which results in over cooked fish. Don't take my word for it, try it for yourself. I am sure you won't be disapointed.

i went to the fish and chip restaurant and the food was excellent and the staff was really friendly. specially i love chips chips was a 5 star rating

i went there again superb and have spoke to loads of other peole who are the same opinion. As regards to the previous reviewr i can only say that as regards taste enough said he lives on the ropetackle so how can he be an arbitor of good taste

I dont know if the last reviewer has had their taste buds removed by my girlfriend and I got some chips from here over Xmas, wasnt incredibly busy. We only live in ropetackle and thought it would be a nice new chippy very near by! However, we got the chips home, and they were rock hard, burnt and just discusting, I'm not a fussy eater at all and will finish most things but I had a few then threw them away. First impressions will always stick with you. And on this note I have warned most of my friends from going in, and the ones who have gone in dont think much more of it either! Best off going to the other chippys in shoreham. STAY AWAY.
