Nia does serve lovely food and drinks, the breakfasts are especially good, but I think they are overpriced. The staff are on the whole very nice, as is the atmosphere, and it has nice views over the river if you get a table by the window. If you are unfortunate enough to sit near the kitchen you can be deafened by the coffee machine - the noise from which seems to be amplified. If you are 'comfortable' or flush I would recommend it, but for people who want value for money its not top of my list.

This restuarant used to be lovely, in years past. Unfortunately, the quality of the food seems to have dropped considerably. The staff are nice and everything else is reasonable, but the food is no where near as good as it used to be. I think the ingredients used are cheap.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the jukebox has a great selection of music. They serve good pub food which is reasonably priced on the whole, and they have offers on for different days and evenings. The garden is lovely, especially in summer and there is plenty of parking. It can be very busy on weekends, although this varies on weekend evenings when sometimes there is just the locals, but at others it can be very busy.

The setting is quirky, the atmosphere is really good and its a great place to go with friends or for a relaxed meal with your partner. I have always found the staff very helpful and their selection of alcoholics drinks good. I am not a curry connoissuer but I have always had a good tasty meal here. Their sag aloo is the best in the area and their peshwari naan is delicious and its all good value.

The Swiss Cottage is generally a pub for families due to its large garden and play area. It is child-friendly and kids do seem to have a great time, especially in the summer when during warm weekend days it is often packed. However, the food leaves much to be desired and there is no atmosphere in the evenings. It is usually dead on a weekend night and has no decent music or sound system. On top of which the woman's toilet had some sort of flooding/leaking problem for about two+ years that has never been fixed.

The staff here are lovely and the food is generally very good. They have a wide range of dishes and are good value for money. I would agree with others who mention that there are a lot of tables squeezed in, which can make it a bit noisy at times. However, this has never detracted from the atmosphere and should only put you off if you want a quiet, intimate meal.
