This pub is terrible for going drinking, it has zero atmoshpere..its not very welcoming. Restaraunt is actually ok. Shame as it is a beautiful old building and could be a great place.

I have to say I love eating in the cottage if you have a large group of friends and you want a good night. The food in here is bland and alot of the dishes taste the same I swear the only differance is how much chilli powder is put in! I havent had a problem with the service in here and always found them to be polite and efficient. DO NOT go here if you are a curry fanatic and want a really tasty curry, but do go for a large group meal if your not bothered about the quality of meal.

Always a good night to be had in Waterside, Dean and Julie make it a really welcome place, and Dean has managed to get rid of the trouble makers. Excellent for sports fans as the are 8 T.Vs. Great food too.
