Hmmmm, now I love a couple of pubs in Shoreham, but I wouldn't give them 10/10 ratings for all categories, not even if I worked there. I mean it would be so blatantly obvious as to make it meaningless. If I were really intelligent and wanted to artificially raise the rating of my pub or wine bar I would vary the figures a little without dropping below 8.

My missus loved the wine, but only bottled beer doesn't do it for me. The landlord gave me change for a tenner when I gave him £20, I went back to the bar and he corrected the mistake before I even said anything. Therefore he knew but didn't come looking for me! Could have been a genuine mistake I suppose!

great food imaginative steak meal was fabulous puddings superb great wines lager hepworths scrummy staff attentive fun and good non smoking too you must try it

I visited New Wood for the first time at the weekend. Finally Shoreham has a chilled-out, smoke free place with amazing wines and food to die for. Staff were attentive and friendly throughout the whole evening. Will definitely be going back. This bar has filled a long-standing hole in Shoreham, would recommend it to everybody!
