This place would still be my 'local' if I didn't have a toddler to think about! Spent most Friday nights in there 'til a couple of years ago and still like to pop in when I get the chance. Lumping it in with the Burrell (smokey joe) is just ludicrous, it's a different class altogether. The notion of "a few from over the road" coming in surprises me as there's never anybody in the burrells anyway!

A nice selection of beers. Generally a decent crowd unless a few from "over the road" (The Burrell Arms) come in. Unfortunately Keith the Landlord has gone down the Sky Sports route which takes the edge of a session.
