Old Shoreham Parish Transcripts - Marriages
A transcript of the Old Shoreham Parish Marriage Registers collated with the Bishop’s Transcripts. A list of surnames of grroms then brides in alphabetical order is shown first with the year of entry to help with identification. This is followed by a list of entries in chronological order including the day and month. When reading names bear in mind the possible spelling variants and, for that part of the transcripts that include the day and month, remember the new calendar after 1752 which affects January, February and March. These are indexed transcripts only provided by courtesy of West Sussex Record Office and West Sussex County Council Library Service. The original Old Shoreham parish registers are available in microfiche form at Shoreham Library, Worthing Reference Library and the County Record Office, Chichester.
