I am hoping you may be able to help in my research of a 19th century paintings subject, which I have been informed may be of Shoreham-by-Sea. It is signed by the artist, Clarence Roe, and has a very indistinct inscription on the reverse possibly saying Shoreham? As your website is obviously the place to contact I wondered if you might have an expert on Shorehams history who could verify that it is your town at the end of the 1800's. We've finally managed to update the Shoreham-by-Sea Photo Gallery with a brand new system which allows all members to upload up to 500 photos (up to 2mb in size each) as well as create their own personal galleries in our Residents Photos Gallery. Members can also comment on each photo as well as rate them from 1-10. We'd love to see everyone uploading and sharing their photos in the community, so if you have any photos of life, events or views of Shoreham-by-Sea, we look forward to seeing them in the new gallery.

We've just been informed that several people are having problems adding photos to their news articles for the front page, as the photo size limit is too small for most photos. As of today (11th November) we have increased the photo size limit to 1mb in order to resolve this issue.
Anyone wishing to add news or an article to Shorehambysea.com is most welcome. Please use the "submit news" or "submit article" links in the members menu on the front page of Shorehambysea.com. This members menu will apear once a member is logged in.
