Seafood Restaurant on Shoreham Beach
The food is fab and cooked really well and with love. If you like a blue steak this is your place and the fish dishes are to die for. We love it but we don't want everybody to come at once.
It must have been an OFF day for the chef as our meals were a disaster! Monkfish not fresh and undercooked, Halibut over cooked and the fishcakes looked recycled they were so brown. The lobster was the smallest I have ever seen but husband enjoyed what there was of it. I was of the mind that the chef was not there and someone was trying to do his job. Don't have the desire to go back as the excuse for the monkfish was not good enough - blame the supplier -get away! No offer of discount for the amount of errors so will do without seafood now till we go to France.
This restaurant is one of the best I have been to. The food is superb, I wasnt a great fish lover until I tried the food here and now I cant get enough of it. We visited a few weeks ago for my bithday and I enjoyed the mussels to start and my favourite dish, the Seabass and even typing this now I wish I could eat the meal over again. As a VIP member I have just received a card through the post that entitles me to two free Glasses of bubbly to celebrate our 2nd Anniversary, so I will be booking a table in the next few weeks. Will be recommending to all my friends and family.
As a first time visitor to Shoreham staying with some friends I was surprised to see so many restaurants in such a small area. We visited a couple while staying here but the little seafood restaurant near the beach was the best. It was such a surprise, the food looked fantastic and tasted even better. The whole place makes you feel like you are on holiday abroad. The staff are welcoming and informative with a really lovely menu and we will be back to visit our friends as soon as we can and to eat at Into the Blue again in the summer. For such a small place not in the high street I congratulate the owners for producing food that would complement any Michelin star restaurant. Jan from Guildford.
We came to Into The Blue as non locals with no preconceptions. We were just really chuffed to find a fabulous seafood restaurant close to our B&B and with affordable prices that meant we could enjoy a great seafood meal out for a family of five without requiring a small mortgage. The first night we went was a friday which was incredibly busy but we were made welcome and the food was good. But the second night we got there a bit earlier and enjoyed some damn fine seafood. It's great to find somewhere selling and cooking fresh food and the choice of dishes means there really is something for everyone. Jackie and Dave were friendly and helpful and their waitresses were great. I was also really pleaed to see them promoting on their fish and chip menu, local sustainable pollock. It is obvious that they care about the food they are cooking and the seas where it comes from.
The lobster tail and fillet steak were so delicious and that we are coming down again from SW London this weekend and are heading back into the blue.
