I knew Ben Gunn, and John Haffenden Peter Eager, and a host of other Shoreham types including years ago Wg /Cdr Wallis who flew his autogiro at Shoreham ...dangerous thing.

Hello Suzanne, I founded Shoreham RAFA in 1985 after 23 years in RAF, then with Don Bean and Ken Wards et al I was chair of the Airshow Committee. Moved to Lincoln in 1999
Cost of housing , etc was better here and of course despite the fact that I loved Shoreham Airport, I have Scampton and Waddington on my doorstep here.

Thats strange Gerry. What is your interest in aviation? Do you spend any time at Shoreham airport - maybe I have seen you there. I tried to email you without success. Suzanne

Thanks Gerry for all your wonderful reminiscences and knowledge of Shoreham and its' past. (Sorry, can't oblige with the cup of tea - Spinalman's nicked the tea caddy!)
