You must have an enormous flat to accommodate that lot. Enjoy the spectacle, I was going to venture along to watch but decided I could not be bothered with standing out in the wind and rain.

What amazed me was the number of people that were here 4/5/6 deep both sides of the road as far as the eye could see up and down the road.
The New Sussex Hotel had his bar staff all out singing and dancing on the roof next door.
When I poked my nose in the pub it was packed to the gunnels and hardly a glass on any of the shelves behind the bar.

Its 6.15 and both sides of the coast road are at a stand still I would give the road a swerve this evening,
Will do as asked and look out at 6.45 and let you know if there is any change.

many thanks very helpful indeed. weve finally found something you're good at. you can be like the admiral in mary poppins and sit on the balcony with a canon giving road and weather reports!

Runs and hides............
Actually it was very good and though windy there was no rain.
Yes, it all passed by in a flash but it will probably be the one and only time it'll ever happen.
The crowd was well behaved and obviously keen to see what was going on. The police, especially the motor cyclists, put on an excellent PR job and most seemed genuinely please to be there.
I honestly can't see a lot wrong with that.
