Freeview - BBC Chanels. Has anyone got problems with BBC1 via Freeview, it was Ok at about 10, but since then unable to retune into it.

I saw the message as well. So trying a retune tonight. But as we are supposed to be on the Whitehawk Transmitter, I wonder why we saw the message. If problem persists, then will think about getting someone to look at the aerial as I suppose the wind or a seagull could have moved it a bit, but I think thats doubtful.

The other thing to look out for is building work between you are the transmitter. Something such a tall crane can really bugger the signal.

Beware of local relays for the Whitehawk transmitter e.g. Brighton Station, Hangleton, Mile Oak and there are others. TVs & PVR’s often select these rather than the main transmitter or both or all. I ended up with 2 or 3 versions of some channels and had to download special filtering software for my Topfield PVR and as for my brand spanking new Sony the channels had to be downloaded manually to stop duplication from weaker relays.
