Hi johnjohn,

Apologies, we're running an upgrade on the forum/login software and we've hit a snag. Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible.

Regards,

Pete

I only ever sign out if I'm using a public computer. On my own machines, if I don't sign out, I don't have to sign back in next time I return.

I ran CCleaner as I always do on a Saturday evening on the notebook downstairs and of course it auto signs out of SBS. This morning maybe after Pete's upgrade? I can't sign in on the notebook.

Does the same on the desk top when I run the registry cleaner but that was still signed in and is OK but dare I run CCleaner on it or sign out?

Pete?

Hi Richard,

Are you getting any errors on your Notebook when you try to login or is it simply "access denied". Please let me know.

I would run CCLeaner on your desktop and if you have problems accessing SBS afterwards, then mail me directly via admin@shorehambysea.com and I'll reset your account.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

Cheers,

Pete

Yep CCleaner auto signed SBS out on the desktop but I was as you can see able to sign in again. The symptoms on the notebook are the 'little pointing hand' appears when hovering over 'sign in' but is effectively inoperative. ie nothing happens. Not even 'access denied.' Just nothing. I'll have another go later on the notebook and see what happens! Must get it fixed before holidays!

OK, at least its not an account issue then :-) What browser are you using on your NoteBook ? There may be a JS conflict caused by the recent upgrade. Let me know & I'll see what I can do.....
Cheers,
Pete

Still can't sign in on the Notebook. Any clues why the button is dead?
