A friend of mine works for Frosts. Staff there were told two weeks ago that they would be closing down by the end of the year, along with Minelco who occupy the large site behind and to the east of Frosts, in order to make way for Morrisons and housing.
Apparently a number of surveyors and architects have been visiting over recent months drawing together plans for a planning application to be submitted to ADC shortly.
My brother works for frosts and they havent been told anything.

I tend to find that the people who stand around talking and blocking the aisles, completely oblivious to anyone else, would not be included in your exclusion lists.

The only way to deal with supermarkets is as if it were a military operation.
Have a clear objective and precise exit plan.
Go in fast, take no prisoners, and leave - sharpish!
No faffing

Cant foresee ADC allowing a supermarket there though as it would involve permanent gridlock in the High St with the massive increase in traffic.

This is very similar to my Christmas shopping Plan B. Plan A is of course to delegate.

My Mistake, my Brother was informed two weeks ago that Frosts are considering moving the car parts section next to McDonalds.
Does that mean on the Halfords site - or are Halfords taking over Frosts ?
Or are McDonals closing due to pending competition from KFC

Ah yeah, there is that.
Interestingly, I've noticed that people seem a bit more "smiley" in Asda than compared to my old haunts. God knows why.
Either way, I`ve also taken to wearing headphones and listening to quite loud music as I thrash around supermarkets.
If nothing else, it muffles the complaints from the people who I barge out of the way.

Quite a few empty shelves in Tescos on Friday night. Asked the checkout girl if Tescos were downsizing and moving to the Green Jacket site, before going the same was Woolworths in a few years time.

Drives me mad! It's like they are too lazy to walk properly! They certainly aren't in control of their vehicle!
