But only at the residences with Pampas Grass in the front garden.

'A widespread urban myth is that pampas grass is used by swingers to advertise their presence to other swingers in the area. The most commonly repeated version states that in the UK and Ireland a patch of pampas grass is planted somewhere in the front garden to act as a signal to passersby that swingers live in the home.'

Seeing as it is about the only thing that'll grown on the Beach there's no wonder it's in profusion - aside of course from the obviously false rumours:oops:
"Man, once surrendering his reason, has no remaining guard against absurdities the most monstrous, and like a ship without a rudder, is the sport of every wind. With such persons, gullibility which they call faith, takes the helm from the hand of reason, and the mind becomes a wreck"

Hi Jules

A good way to meet people would be to get involved with either Beach Dreams or the Shoreham Fort. the Fort have regular volunteer days where you can pop in and see whether you'd be interested in helping out.

Beach Dreams is our annual community music and family fun festival during the half term week in June. Lots going on this year thanks to the double bank holiday for the Diamond jubilee. First meeting for volunteers and helpers is at Beach House restaurant in East Street on Wednesday at 8pm, all welcome!
