Hi Guys

Just wanted to share with you all the fantastic news that we won the £6000 Natwest Community Grant, and they gave a bit extra for leading by so many votes!

A huge thanks to everyone that voted for us. Its really appreciated. As soon as the money is cleared we can crack on with the ongoing maintenance of the Fort.

The next volunteer day is the 11th December so pop down and see all the volunteers and maybe take one of the tours.
You can find further info on our Facebook page and also on Twitter.

Just to add we are always looking for new volunteers so if you fancy helping out then come along or contact Gary.
We'll even have new tools soon to make life a little easier :)

The bank gave a bit extra? ... I'll have to go and sit down.

Congratulations.

The Fort is apparently going to be featured on South Today this evening from 18:30.

Sorry for the short notice!

Thanks for the heads up I saw all 30 seconds of it

There is a future tea shop in place at the fort

Today a lorry came and picked up my shed from Lancing and we followed the shed down to the fort and put down on an area of concrete

Garry said they are going to have a day sorting it out, ie fixing a new door lock and hindges, giving it a good clean, and it needs a serving window installed, and some new tar paper on the roof

All thanks to Howard Kent movers of Shoreham I understand they move the shed of free

Yes there wasn't much of it was there  Still good to see it anyway.

I'm glad you're shed can now be put to good use for such a worthy cause and good on Howard Kent!

Thanks guys for all your support. It really did help

Good to see the Fort getting coverage in different medias, and keeping everyone up to date with progress.

Thanks again massively to Green Angel for all his support and help with the Shed. Looking forward to getting it lookng a bit tidier ready for next year

Maybe see some of you at Volunteer Day tomorrow?
