Test reply - seem to have gone back to a separate login for the forum, rather than linked to the main site.

Hi Pete - this has now been fixed. You can adjust your daylight saving time by going to board settings in your control panel.

Regards,

Pete

VOLUNTEERSbehind the Ropetackle Centre want to take on the Adur Festival.

The Ropetackle Trust isapplying for funding from the Arts Council to run the annual event, and at ameeting of the Worthing and Adur councils' joint overview and scrutiny committee(JOSC) on Thursday (June 21), asked for £10,000 "match funding".

The 25-year-old festival, runby Adur District Council, is currently the subject of a review, by a JSOCworking party, which is due to be published next month.

The panel was tasked with findingout if the council could make the loss-making festival financially viable, and,if not, ways of working with other organisations.

During the public question timeof the meeting, held at Worthing Town Hall, Martin Allen, chairman of thetrust, said the application to the Arts Council, for an initial £10,000 to payfor project costs as well as a part-time development officer, was at a "crucialstage".

He went on to say the artscentre had the backing of the public, as was shown by an appeal for funds lastyear, that saw £26,000 being raised in just a few weeks.

Adur councillor, Angus Dunn, said the request was "putting the cart before the horse", and that no decisionshould be made until the working party report was published and discussed.

The committee agreed it was tooearly to consider the bid.

This made me chortle.
