Rotor, was on Truleigh hill. Honeybunch........sounds like the name of a bungalow.

Yes on ROTOR. and Honeybunch is a bungalow in Victoria Road adjacent to the Old Shoreham Road junction.

Not sure if it is part of this installation. but I have been down a Royal Observer Corp bunker on Truleigh Hill. There are several around here.

I think you are correct,it was Southwick Hill. I will have to find where it now as you have me wondering. There is also a bunker at Steyning. I had a job installing equipment in them.

Ther's a photograph on the site somewhere of the Southwick bunker showing the lid and surround IIRC. I think Jimbo took and posted it some time ago?

How many branches did the Grocer 'Eade's Stores' have in Shoreham in the late 30's ?

That might be a little too difficult to find....there were four, Brunswick Road,High Street,New Road and 'Bungalow Town'....a 1930's Mr.Tesco!
try this one also a local trader......What did Arthur Cottee sell in his shop ?

I remember the family talking about "going down to Cotees" but can't for the life of me remember where it was or what they sold. Was it hardware?

Not hardware...His shop was in Brunswick Road
