Madeira
Portugals beautiful flower island in the Atlantic, a superb island for a holiday that is a little bit different from the regular sunshine destinations.

Prien am Chiemsee
This amazing town sits at the shores of a huge lake in Bavaria, there is so much to see and do in the area, a visit to the amazing spa, Prienavera, is a must. The stainless steel pools venture outdoors to the lakeside, so you can lay in the warm water, on a jacuzzi vent watching the boats on the lake, bliss!

Tavira
On the relatively quiet Eastern end of Portugals Algarve coast, this quaint town is a real delight, and the offshore beaches reached by small ferries are some of the best.

Oberstaufen
This Bavarian spa town is an ideal location for touring this splendid region, fairytale castles abound and the gorgeous Lindau on the shores of Lake Constance is worth a day trip.

Boppard
Situated near an oxbow bend on the mighty Rhine, this German town was a very pleasant surprise, there is plenty to see in this very scenic and romantic area, not to forget the great local wines!

Western France
For a change we used the ferry and drove on this holiday. The Western seaboard makes a great destination, with many varying types of seaside towns, and of course superb food and wine!

Zell am See
A lakeside resort town in Austria, this destination has a lot to offer, wonderfull views as well as being the hub for many great day trips in the area.

Benamadena
A gem of a town on Spains Costa del Sol, one of the best prominades, with a marina complex at the Eastern end that you could spend a day in. A good base for seeing the area, and don't miss the cable car going up into the mountains from the old town.

Grundlsee
This small lake and town in the heart of Austria holds a special place with us. Stunningly beautiful, especially with the changing light, we really fell in love with the place. Best of all we can see it everyday as our homepage, a local resident runs a website featuring a daily photo of the lake.
