Portrait PhotographyA good portrait should be more than a true likeness of someone, it should say something personal and hopefully ask questions. The best portraits capture the moment, the expression, the mood, something that makes you... you! Great portraits can be taken anywhere; at your home, at your favourite place - inside or out, or in a studio. The location and light partly create the mood and the photographer uses them to advantage but it is the rapport and trust between photographer and model that is most essential. Demuth Photography has portable professional lighting if you want portraits at home, access to fully equipped studios and of course there is always the great outdoors and "god's lightbox".
