The Beach House restaurant is the latest creation by the excellent chef, Andrew Freeman (ex-Shore Bar). Superb meat platter, fresh local fish and mussels and a well priced and balanced wine list. Lovely, relaxed atmospehere and prompt and friendly service. A real pleasure to have a meal in the Beach House Restaurant.
Went to Andrew's Scallop Night last week and had a really lovely evening. There were scallops offered 9 different ways - each delicious. It was a really good way of trying them and with a large bowls of salad and rustic bread. The scallops were sold at £2.50 each and they came beautifully presented on a shell with some salad. As a sort of specific tapas evening it was very sociable seeing which selection other diners were having. Cannot wait for another chance to eat Andrew's lovely food.
Decided to try the Beach House with my wife, simply to have a night out for the two of us - 'sans kids' - and what a wonderful night we had.
A great welcome by Andrew, Erran and Natasha - started with one of Errans Mohitos (simply the best ever!), moved onto the meat platter starter (amazing mixture of hams & sausages with locally baked breads and pestos) and the Mussels Mariniere for the main.
Really couldn't fault the food, the ambience and the lovely Pino Grigio wine - a great evening in every way.
Our main suprise was the bill - well below what we would have expected to pay for the high level of cuisine, staff and atmosphere. Well done to all at The Beach House, we will definitely be back.
Totally agree with Talktalk - Wonderful menu, superbly cooked by Andrew and his team, amazing cocktails (although regretted it in the morning :-). If your living in Shoreham or just visting, got to be worth a visit
Enjoyed 3rd meal at Beach House on Saturday and continue to be overwhelmed by the food. Seabass on bed of delicious risotto - excellently cooked and tasted amazing. First course of meat platter with olives, mozzarrella balls, olive oil and balsmatic vinegar mmmmm. With Aaron's mojitos (he makes the best cocktails I have ever had) and all in all a perfect meal. Andrew has successfully resurrected the excellence of The Shore in a quirky and unique setting.
