Shoreham Anglers Attack West Arm ! PDF Print E-mail

Shoreham Harbour ArmSeptember 24th was a busy day on the West Arm with many weekend anglers present, when members of the recently formed “Shoreham Angling Squad “appeared.
To the surprise of the weekend anglers they came, not with expensive rods and bags of exotic baits, but with brooms and black dustbin liners and proceeded to sweep clean the Arm of the rubbish,  which, has been the feature  of this fishing venue for years, to applause and astonishment from the other anglers. Some members even found time to give some angling advice to some young anglers who were float fishing for mackerel.

Beach Dreams Bonfire - Friday November 3rd PDF Print E-mail

Gathering on Beach Green at 18.30-19.15hrs with music from Splash FM. Bonfire Procession at 19.15hrs lead by Beach Batteria and fireworks at 8pm. Live music from then onwards by Burning Organ all the usual food stalls too !
Stewards are still needed for the evening if you would like to volunteer contact Father Marcus on 01273 543768
Clean wood only please needed for the bonfire building starts on that on October 31st please put it in the Bonfire pit on the beach by the church. Lovely lanterns to be made too if you want to help workshops are taking place every Thursday from this week at the Church of Good Shepherd Church Hall 8pm.
