ImageSarah Parker, has dropped in a CD of superb photos of the Fun Run , click here to view the photos. Sarah stated "This was the third year that we organised the event, it was great fun, and went well. So far we have raised £350 for the Beach School PTFA, and money still coming in. The warm up was fun and was hosted by Veronica who holds an aerobic class on Mondays 7.15 at Shoreham Centre. We ran 6KM from Beach Green to Lancing Green and back"

I feel I have to raise an issue that is a VERY topical talking point in the Shoreham-by-Sea Forums and its that of the recent "School Allocation Farce" at the Beach School (Click Here to read more and add your comments). I personally know parents that live on the beach, a short distance from Beach Green, are VERY active in helping the community with both Beach Dreams and other worthwhile causes, have a child at the school already and have just been told that their daughter will have to go elsewhere - this is absolutely ridiculous, especially as nearly 300 more homes have just been built within the "catchment area", without increasing the size of the school - JOIN THE DEBATE TODAY!
