This used to be the best chippy in Shoreham ... hadn't been in there for years and popped in on the way back from a training course one early evening. Just had chips which were of a very good standard still - not overly greasy and a reasonable portion, but the service left a lot to be desired. There was several people behind the counter and despite the fact there were not crowds of customers, utter chaos reigned. People that had come in after me got served before and it took several tries to actually get one of the wild eyed squawking youths to understand what it is what I wanted. I would probably try them again but if I hit the same problems again, avoid it thereafter.

Popped in one lunchtime for a portion of chips - the guy behind the counter looked like he'd just woken up - his what looked like pajamas were filthy, he looked filthy and the very thought of him touching my food made my stomach curl.

the chips were greasy and yukky, much prefer tony's fish bar

Since moving to Shoreham we've been looking for a decent chippy, and I think we might have now found it. Excellent food, freshly cooked. The quality reminded me of Bardsley's in Brighton. The only downside is having to wait 10 mins or so because they tend to cook to order. But it's well worth the wait.

BLUNDENS IS NO MORE NO FRIENDLY SERVICE FOOD AWFUL BATTER SOGGY STAFF MEDIOCRE TO IDLE FISH IS EITHER RAW OR BURNT AND DRY CHIPS GREASY AND RECOOKED DONT GO THER TRY TONYS
