Without a doubt, my favourite pub in Shoreham. My husband and I only get out very occasionally due to childcare, but when we do go out locally, we head straight for this place. The reason being, we are always assured of a good pint of real ale (we're both fans of the Dark Star Brewery) or an excellent bottled beer. The beer and ale are kept perfectly and served as they should be. We've also been attracted to the pub on a few of the 'live music' occassions when we've had an excellent time. On our last visit (the 'Belgian' theme), we listened to live Belgian punk artists alongside Attila the Stockbroker and others, there was a great supply of Belgian beer and even Belgian chocolates; what more can I say?

Probably the best place in Shoreham to get a good pint of ale. A good selection of Dark Star brews and guest ales. The new owners are doing the place up nicely. Staff are friendly. Live music on the weekends. Concrete garden out back. Only complaint is that the lighting is a bit too bright for my tastes. Maybe it's a temporary measure to clear out the 16 year olds!

Now here's a thing. I like this pub but I've never been able to get on with Dark Star Brewery beers. So whenever I go in I generally try a cider or two. A proper drinkers pub nontheless.
