Popped in for some beer this afternoon. They have the best range of Ale I've seen in the local area - they keep it well too. The staff were nice - very friendly. The outside area is OK, I guess, if you like watching the level crossing go up and down, but the inside isn't that brilliant. It's OK, but not the best. It's the kind of pub that wass probably hell before the smoking ban. But if you want a nice pint in a friendly pub then this looks to be the place to go.

Proper grown up Ale Pub, with 11 hand pumps including up to 6 rotating guest beers. Twice yearly beer festivals and sky sports. Never any trouble here.

wonder where all the scum from the burrells went yes they have crossed the road bar smokey chavvy and unpleasant

How smokey joe can skew the results with 1 out of 10 for everything is completeley beyond comprehension. He is obviously a troll.
The beer is certainly the best in Shoreham and one of the tops for Sussex. 11 real ales always on tap and very well looked after by knowledgeable staff. Strangers are welcomed in to the pub and are frequently advised (if asked) on the best beer to suit their tastes. There is always something new on offer and it is my delight to try the different brews, you can always ask for a free taster if you're no sure.

Best pub in Shoreham by a long chalk.
