Stopped on the off chance for a bite to eat. Enjoyed a gorgeous 'doorstep' sandwich, packed full of prawns. Glass of wine and a table in the garden with the sun shining down.
Busy in there but still good service. will go there again

Why is everyone slagging off the Bridge (and with very bad literacy skills - that means spelling!)? It is a lovely friendly pub with really attentive and helpful staff, in a brilliant location - warm and welcoming inside and great outside in nice weather with wonderful views of the river. We have tried them all and the Bridge does the best Sunday Roast around - hot, tasty, very large portions and with their trademark jug of superb gravy - unbeatable. Fullers (and Shoreham) should be proud!

nice venue, shame about the staff. unfriendly, uncaring and downright rude at times. roasts are good; rest is dubious. shame.

i work for Fullers Brewery in London and we took over Gales last year so I have been vsiting pubs in the area the bridge has potential the site is good the food is terrible even for pub grub and the beer is not good have they a cellarman the visit was incognito i may add the staff semmed friendly and eager to please however the licensee who was cooking at the time appeared to be miserable bored and looked as if it was a chore to even be there she was rude to the friendly staff at least three times whist i was ther the food bar was nearly empty and the public bar had one in i
i can only hope it gets better it is the worst pub i have been to so far apart from the crabtree which is under the same management
surely it cant get worse

I had read some extremely bad reviews of this pub, and remembered that my experiences in there were always pleasent so my hundband and I went in for a meal. The food we had was beautifully cooked, with a wide varity of dishes to choose from, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the bar staff were friendly and helpful. I had a friendly converstaion with the manager later that evening and he mentioned they were working hard to make improvements as shoreham is becoming more and more popular. I think this pub is in a great location as it has lovely views of the river and is a nice size. overall a great family pub which i would highly recommend.
