A loovely friendly place to have a relaxing glass of wine and a bite to eat, or a chat over a pint. An excellent range of wines, most served by the glass. Morretti, Amstel, Export Hieneken, and Harvey's on draought, as well as a bott range of bottled beers and ciders. Good, great value food,and super friendly staff complete the mix. Live Music on a Tuesday evening, and a chilled out blues/jazz on the last Sunday of the month. Definately worth a visit!

god what a find the staff friendly asked for a pint of moretti to be told there wasnt any but they had peroni as a replacement a steal at 3 pounds the wine was excellent too the food was ordered easily and we had a table as well the menu was impressive reasonable and when the food arrived it was presented well coked to perfection and a joy to eat we werent hurried the chef came and asked us if it was ok and talked to us we stayed until closing great stuff

I often pop in here on a Saturday afternoon for a glass or two while I'm "shopping". It is so nice and feels comfortable for me as a lone female which is important

Well , what a surprise this has turned out to be. Finally someone with some sense on how to run a bar, nice music, great food, excellant wine and the lighting has finally been lowered in order to not blind you, but to give you a sense of comfort and relaxation in a place where the staff are now well and truly smiley happy people and often enjoy a laugh and joke. Well done Jamie and Charlie, well done!!!

i was a visitor to shoreham(see my comments on crown and anchor)
we came ti the wood to eat on a sunny sunday evening after a disastrous lunch at the crown and anchor

dear god what a difference friendly staff wine was good and reasonably priced the italian lager was good the food was of a high standard the mezes for two was outstanding in fact i am putting that on my lunch menu in lonodn and the mains were again good the prices were very good value and we did i mst admit have a good time and drank a large amount of wine
totally recoomend this place
