About the Artists

Marilyn has worked internationally as a photo-journalist on features, portraits and fashion for Vogue, Harpers & Queen , BBC Arts Features, The Observer, etc. She willbe showing her black and white portraits of  celebrity icons from the 50’s and 60’s, including Albert Einstein, Twiggy and Joanna Lumley.

Nikki, a freelance editorial / pr photographer, will be exhibiting her surreal images of Sussex locations and landmarks ... Brighton Dome, the Old Fort on Shoreham Beach, the disused Cement Works, West Pier etc ... the images have been digitally manipulated to reveal their unique atmosphere - sometimes scary, sometimes fun.

Jocelyn’s work involves vibrant, colourful images of nature. She was first encouraged to take up photography by her father, the renowned modernist architect Joseph Emberton, who gave her her first camera (a Leica) and she was further inspired by her late husband, John Underwood, a filmmaker and photographer.
