The Health and Wellbeing Partnership in Adur is offering one-off grants for 2008/2009 to voluntary and community groups.
Grants of up to £500 are available and the Partnership is particularly looking to assist the start up costs of new groups or the running costs of those already established, which organise regular activities providing social contact and support for people who are likely to:

• Be aged over 65, have physical disabilities or suffering ill health
• Be housebound, isolated or vulnerable
• Have little or no contact with other services and support

Local groups are eligible to apply for a one off payment of up to £500 if they:

• Are providing support to vulnerable people in Adur
• Had less than £20,000 income in 2007/2008
• Have not previously applied for 2008/2009 grant support from the Health & Wellbeing Partnership
